1Oklahoma Ranks High in Small Biz Wireless Use

March 25, 2010 -- A new AT&T Small Business Technology Poll ranks Oklahoma #2 in use of wireless by small businesses.  Atlanta was #1 among the 10 metro areas included in the survey.

The Tulsa World reports that Oklahoma also topped the other areas in the use of wi-fi hotspots, laptops and notebooks.

2Governors' Wind Energy Coalition Recommendations

March 24, 2010 - The Governors' Wind Energy Coalition recently released its national recommendations for wind energy development.  The report, Great Expectations: U.S. Wind Energy Development, is the product of a bipartisan group of 30 governors from all areas of the nation.  Oklahoma Governor Brad Henry is a member of the group.

The 6 recommendations outlined in the report are designed to cost-effectively address jobs, energy, climate and national security through the use of domestic renewable energy resources.

3AAA Celebrates Grand Opening of OKC Operations Center

March 23, 2010 -- AAA officials cut the ribbon today on the organization's massive new operations center in northwest Oklahoma City.

The 147,000-square-foot building is a joint project of six AAA clubs, including AAA Oklahoma, and serves as a primary point of contact for 6 million AAA members in 10 states.
