County Business Patterns
The County Business Patterns represent a data series that provides economic information by county and industry. The information and statistics presented within this series helps business and government decision-makers study the economic activity of small areas; analyze economic changes over time; and serves as a benchmark for statistical series, surveys, and databases between major economic census efforts.
County Business Patterns covers most of a county's economic activity. However, exclusions include data on the self-employed, employees of private households, railroad employees, agricultural production employees, and most government employees.
